Focus millimeter wave by a lens and irradiate a measurement sample with it,
you can measure reflection amount accurately.
There are 2 types of this system. S11 type : to measure reflected wave amount from transmitting point to the same point.
S21 type : to measure reflected wave amount from transmitting point obliquely to the other receiving point.
Minimum focused diameter(spot diameter) is about twice the wavelength.

The reason for its high accuracy
Because of the free space between a horn antenna and a lens,
unnecessary reflection won't occur and a disturbance of the phase also won't occur.
Spot diameter can be changed by changing positions of a horn antenna backward and forward.
※ Anechoic chamber is not required.
