Area Monitoring Radar Series

Model No. SES05
KEYCOM develops and manufactures area monitoring radars. You can select 60 GHz or 24 GHz, and FMCW or pulse radar as the technology to be used.
We provide custom data output tailored to your system specifi cation.
This instrument is a government- specified low- power instrument, so it does not require a license in Japan.

Rotating tilt-method pencil beam three-dimensional radar

This system provides a high - resolution scan of target objects in the monitoring area with 2°- directivity - angle pencil beams that have high -speed rotation and tilt movement.
The system outputs the obtained data and displays it in simultaneous 3D images.

Advantages of rotating tilt-method monitoring radar

  • High-resolution scanning with 2° directivity angle pencil beams; displays the objects in three-dimensional images.
  • Does not require any license because it is a government-specifi ed low-power instrument.

Rotating fan beam radar

This system scans target objects in the monitoring area with a rotating fan -shaped beam of 2° horizontal directivity angle and 45 ° vertical directivity angle.
The system outputs the obtained data and simultaneously displays the target image in two - dimensional radar display mode, according to the height and the refl ection intensity of the target object.

Advantages of rotating fan beam radar

  • The scanned object is highlighted on the screen with an accurate scale of height.
  • A faster rotation speed updates the screen more frequently so that you can grasp the moving direction and the speed of the target.
  • Longer instrument lifetime achievable with slower rotation speeds.
  • Does not require any license because it is a government-specifi ed low-power instrument.

Fixed fan beam radar

This instrument scans target objects in the monitoring area with a fan beam of 2 ° horizontal directivity angle and 45 ° vertical directivity angle, fixed in the horizontal (or vertical) direction.
The system outputs the obtained data and simultaneously displays the target image, which is based on the moving direction and the refl ection intensity of the object.
Sonar display mode is used, based on the time elapsed and the distance.

Advantages of fixed fan beam radar

  • An object is visible if it is as high as the antenna.
  • Long lifetime due to the absence of moving parts.
  • The sonar display mode reveals the moving direction and the speed of the object to some extent.
  • Does not require any license because it is a government-specifi ed low-power instrument.
